Important Info for Students Going into the Ninth Grade

Good day All

This is an important message for all former WSMS Band Members that will be attending White Station High School in August 2015.

This is from Susan Bingham, and is regarding Band Camp for WSHS. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the following.  For the rest of you students and parents that are returning to WSMS next month – Yeay – we can’t wait to see you.

Dear Spartan Band Members and Parents, 
Here is a schedule and reminders about band camp which begins next Monday, July 13.
  • All students in band classes are required to be in marching band.

  • Band Camp Schedule:

July 13-14 (Mon-Tues.) – Freshmen, Sophomores, Percussion, Band Officers 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m.

July 15-17 (Wed.-Fri.) – All band members 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m.

          July 20-24 (Mon.-Fri.) – All band members 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m.

          July 27-31 (Mon.-Fri.) – All band members 8:00-5:00p.m.

          Aug. 3-7 (Mon.-Fri.) – All band members 3:00-6:00 (This is in-service week for teachers.)

  • Band Camp Student Needs:

Comfortable shorts and tee shirts for being outside (loose-fitting, school appropriate)

Sunblock

Hat

Water bottle (water coolers will be on practice field – students need to bring a bottle)

Sack lunch or money to walk to nearby restaurant to buy lunch.

Instrument/reeds/mouth-pieces/sticks/etc.

We are excited about this up-coming year and look forward to seeing you all!
